Beckenham Town Junior Football Club is now a Football Association (F.A.) Charter Standard football club. We are centred in the Beckenham / West Wickham area but with members and a following that spans the London borough of Bromley and beyond.

The FA Charter Standard programme is a kitemark, which recognises and rewards high quality levels of provision in club and league football. The kitemark is awarded to clubs that are well run, sustainable, which place child protection, quality coaching and safety paramount.
Criteria for achieving the award include having a trained Welfare Officer, CRB checks for all volunteers, Emergency Aid-trained volunteers linked to each team, Respect programme sign-up, a Level One coach for each youth team, appropriate club administration in place and a volunteer co-ordinator.
BTJFC, going from Strength to Strength

The FA RespectBeckenham Town Junior Football Club is also registered with and are active participants in the Football Association Respect Programme.

Beckenham Town Junior Football Club is completely staffed by volunteers on both the administrative and coaching side. A large number of our coaches have been trained and accredited by the F.A., provisioning us well to provide a highly professional and well managed organisation for the development of youth football.

At Beckenham Town Junior Football Club our focus is creating a fun environment for our youngsters to develop both as individuals and as young sports men and women.

The club was established in 1991 and has grown to span 12 age groups between the ages of 7 and 18. Each year the club scales up adding a new group at the under 7 level, this will continue until an upper age group of 18 is achieved.

Our current complement is in excess of 350 boys and girls and a staff of 30, each year adding around 25-30 new children and another 3 staff members. Running a club on this scale requires a large amount of material resources, in terms of equipment from balls and cones to football kits and even down to the costly booking of various grounds for training and games.

The club has grown considerably over the past three years and has a strategic vision and desire to grow in quality and evolve further. This will be achieved with the continued support of our staff and the generous contributions made by companies and individuals who want to give something back and help build a legacy for the Beckenham and West Wickham community.

If you are able to sponsor the club or a team, please visit our Sponsor Us page. The club relies on these sponsorships to improve and expand.
